We are looking for an Account Manager to join our Client Services team. This individual will liaise with all departments to provide strategy and planning across multiple theatrical accounts. Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Head of Theater, the Account Manager is a full-time position that is based in New York City.
WHAT YOU'LL DO (IN BRIEF):
Client Collaboration: Support the Group Account Director or Account Lead in delivering excellent client service, ensuring that all client requests are handled in a timely manner.
External Collaboration: Establish and maintain excellent relationships with external stakeholders such as ticket vendors, theater press teams, and other specialist agencies to ensure excellent perception of AKA and our work within the industry.
Campaign Management: Translate briefs into action to disseminate to internal teams, monitor progress throughout the agency, and ensure timely delivery.
Meeting Management: Manage the preparation for client meetings with a prepared agenda, ensuring that clear goals and action items are agreed, and outstanding items have appropriate follow-up.
Financial Management: Ensure weekly billing takes place on your accounts and support the Account Director or Lead in managing budgets
Team Collaboration: Assist with training and coaching Account Coordinators. Anticipate peak workload periods and proactively escalate potential challenges while proposing solutions to maintain strong client service and team performance.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
- 3-5 years of experience as a client account executive or related role (ideally servicing the entertainment industry).
- Ability to manage client relationships and expectations
- Can anticipate and deliver against client needs
- An entrepreneurial spirit; proven record for being a self-starter, proactive, and the ability to work autonomously
- A natural problem-solver
- Someone who can lead and develop strategies on behalf of our clients
- Understands and delivers against financial goals
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly MS PowerPoint and Excel, as well as Asana.
WHAT WE OFFER:
The salary range for this position in New York, New York is $66,000 - 84,999 per year.
The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and years of experience. A discretionary bonus may be provided as part of the total compensation package.
